Well drained Fertile sandy and low fertile soil is suitable for groundnut cultivation

Agriculture experts in the department said that farmers should use good well drained sandy, fertile sandy and low fertile soil for the cultivation of the groundnut. Deep ploughing should be done for better soil preparation and for removal of weeds. In the rainy areas, timely sowing of seeds in watar condition should be done. Sowing of recommended varieties by Bari 2011, Potohar and Bari 2016 should be done for better development.
