Farmers should immediately start the cultivation of summer vegetables including bitter gourd, okra, brinjal, tomato, green chili, capsicum, cucumber, etc. Vegetables can be successfully grown from end-February to the end of March. Optimum temperature ranges from 20 to 35 degrees Celsius for the growth of summer vegetables. Soil with good drainage and organic matter is well suited for growing summer vegetables. For better production recommended resistant seed varieties should be sown.
