Raids conducted by Teams of Punjab Food Authority

Punjab Food Authority has raided various Government and Non-Government hospitals’ canteens and cafeterias. Three cafeterias were selling expired, stale and hazardous food items consequently were sealed by PFA. Team also fined a private hospital located in Johar Town by Rs. 30,000 for poor hygiene and sanitation.

Team of PFA also raided different food points situated in various Hospitals across the city. In E-Medical University block of Meo Hospital and cafeterias of Kot Khawaja Saeed’s hospitals were also been sealed for serving unhygienic food stuff and poor cleanliness.

Doctors Hospital is one of top level hospital in Lahore, when team examine its cafeteria they observed poor sanitation system and fined with Rs. 30,000. They also warned Hospital management to up bring their housekeeping system and to improve cleaning system within seven days.
