Loss of 30 thousand acres of wheat because of hailstorm, Deputy Director Agriculture Extension

Deputy Director Agriculture Muhammad Ashraf Kandi said that last two days rainfall in the district Layyah, union council chaman Shah, Kot Sultan and mountain areas cause serve damage to wheat crops. According to the initial survey the damage to crop of 30,000 acres of wheat is affected. He further added that since the harvest of wheat has been planned, therefore, the loss will be minimized. While in these areas crop of 200 acres vegetables and 20 acres tobacco is also affected by 20 percent.
