Foot and Mouth disease is one of the most important diseases of livestock, which causes a drastic fall in meat and milk production. The symptoms of this disease include high fever and vesicle formation in the oral cavity and on feet and teats. It is a contagious disease because this virus is present in all secretions and excretions of animals, including urine, milk, meat, feces, and exhaled air. It is a viral infection so there is no specific treatment but supportive therapy can be done to prevent secondary bacterial infection. Isolation of the sick animal with separate feeding and watering utensils. Wash the mouth of an animal with 2 % alum solution.
