Farmers should take care of Pomegranate plants, Agricultural Experts

Agricultural experts have said that since the current season is favorable for different insect pests of pomegranate, so farmers should take care of pomegranate plants. They should significantly check out all plants and safety measures should be done as soon as the symptoms appear. Insects that infest pomegranate trees include mealybugs, scale insects, whiteflies, thrips, leaf roller, beetles and the larvae of various butterflies and moths. A common sign of an insect infestation is discoloration, yellowing and wilting of the leaves or damage to fruit. If any infestation is severe suitable insecticide should be applied.
