Farmers should harvest the potato fall crop from late December to mid-January. Growers should stop irrigation of potato crops at least two weeks prior to harvest. During harvesting, take care not to injure the potatoes. Because in this way, where the potatoes stored in cold storage are consumed, they have very little value in the market. If the potatoes kept in the shade for two to three days, their skin will be hardened so that the grading and filling of sacks will not leave the potato peeled and the potatoes will be protected from spoilage.
