Cultivation of leafy vegetables.

Leafy green vegetables are cool-season crops and most nutritious as compared to others. They grow best in the open, level areas where the soil is loose, rich, and well-drained. Farmers can start the cultivation of spinach, mint, coriander, lettuce, etc. These plants required fewer fertilizers and more water for growth. Seeds are commonly planted ¼ – ⅓ inches deep, with a space between plants around 1 inch and rows about 2 to 3 inches apart on 26-30 inches wide beds. The plantation on beds overcomes the chances of fungal diseases.
